Beam AI Lite enables you to measure and monitor stress (according to the Baevsky stress index), HRV (SDNN) and pulse rate (BPM) continuously through the selfie camera. It uses a light-weight version of the advanced rPPG technology developed by Beam AI and currently runs at 30fps. To learn more about the underlying technology and our work, please visit www.beamhealth.ai.

How does it work?
We extract a remote pulse wave signal from your face and from that, we estimate stress (according to the Baevsky stress index), HRV (SDNN) and pulse rate (BPM) over 60-second windows in real-time. We can give you measurements with as little as 10 seconds of data, but values before the 1-minute mark can be noisy.

No login/account creation needed!
No annoying ads!
No data collected; always privacy-first!
- Video data is NEVER saved and NEVER leaves the phone! All processing happens on the phone and every frame is deleted immediately after processing which takes 0.5 mili-seconds.
- Stress, HRV and pulse data is NEVER saved and NEVER leaves the phone! All processing happens on the phone and only inter-beat interval information for the last ~10 minute is kept in memory to produce stress, HRV and pulse readings. Any inter-beat interval information kept is immediately deleted once you stop monitoring!
- Personally identifiable information is NEVER collected on device or otherwise!
- At the moment, we DO NOT even collect anonymous usage data (e.g. number of measurements, minutes monitored, etc.)!

Who is behind Beam AI?
Beam AI is built by our team of engineers and AI researchers at Beam AI Inc. (www.beamhealth.ai). We ourselves often struggle with stress and have found it useful to be able to measure and monitor it. Beam AI Lite is an easy-to-use light-weight app that enables you to monitor stress, HRV and pulse rate from your face through the selfie camera.
